Pina Colada Smoothie Recipe

Coconut and pineapple are such a yummy tropical flavor combination. Try them in this delicious and refreshing pina colada smoothie recipe. Best of all, it’s also healthy and the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day.

Pina Colada Smoothie Recipe

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple pieces
  • 1 frozen banana *
  • 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoon coconut flakes

* Whenever I have some extra ripe bananas, I peel them, slice them and put them in small freezer bags. I then toss them in the freezer and use them in frozen smoothies like this yummy pina colada smoothie recipe throughout the year.

Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. You can add more or less juice depending on what consistency you like in your smoothie. Less juice will make a thicker smoothie, more juice a thinner one.

    This one sounds good, will try it. The way I make my Pina Colada Smoothie has very little calories and is very good, even my husband loves it.

    1/2 cup pineapple (use fresh, canned or snack pack variety packed in own juice. Be sure to drain juice before use.)
    1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
    1 1/2 cups ice
    1/3 cup water (more or less)

    Blend pineapple, coconut extract, ice and water. Blend until smooth.
