Peaches are in season right now and we have a big basket full of them sitting on the counter. This afternoon I whipped up some yummy peach smoothies for all of us. They were absolutely delicious.
- 2 peaches
- 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
- Splash of milk
Start by cutting the peaches in half. Remove the pit, then peel them as best as you can. Put them in your blender along with the yogurt, milk and ice. Blend until everything is smooth.
You can use whatever yogurt you have sitting in the fridge. We always have low-fat vanilla yogurt, so that’s what I’m using in most of my smoothie recipes. I’m sure it would also be delicious with strawberry or even peach yogurt. If you are using plain yogurt, you may want to add a little sugar, honey or some other sweetener.
