I like kiwi and strawberry mixed together. It looks so pretty when you are making a simple fruit salad. It also happens to make a delicious fruit smoothie that’s full of vitamin C. Here’s a yummy kiwi strawberry smoothie recipe you can try at home. All you need is a little fruit, some juice and a blender.
Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
- 2 kiwis
- 1/2 banana (sliced and frozen)
- 6 frozen strawberries
- 1/2 to 1 cup orange juice
Start by cutting the kiwis in half. Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh and put it in the blender. Discard the peel. You can add it to your compost pile.
Put the banana slices and frozen strawberries into the blender as well. Add 1/2 cup of juice and start to blend. Add more juice if needed until your smoothie is perfect. More juice will make a thinner more drinkable smoothie, less juice will result in a thicker smoothie.
If you are making these for company, you can take a fresh strawberry and cut into it and then set it on the rim. An orange slice would also make a nice decoration.
