This one sounds good, will try it. The way I make my Pina Colada Smoothie has very little calories and is very good, even my husband loves it.

1/2 cup pineapple (use fresh, canned or snack pack variety packed in own juice. Be sure to drain juice before use.)
1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
1 1/2 cups ice
1/3 cup water (more or less)

Blend pineapple, coconut extract, ice and water. Blend until smooth.

Now see, I always use milk instead of juice for my blueberry smoothies, but I will have to give this citrus thing a try. I found a really good blueberry smoothie recipe that doesn't use any yogurt for any of you who are lactose intolerant. Check it out! I thought it was yummy :).

Thank you for the quinoa pasta recipe. I agree that this would go great with tomato sauce and some Parmesan cheese. Will be trying this out soon. Thanks again!

We loved this! My husband is very picky and has already asked for this again. My 3 year old liked it as well. We used fresh grated Sharp Cheddar. I will make this over and over!! Thank you!!

Tomato soup is supposed to be simple. I like mine with some basil, garlic and red pepper flakes.

Here is the recipe:

Has anyone tried it raw? I was nibbling on my flax seeds and decided to taste the quinoa raw. It has no bitter taste. It tastes nutty. I sprinkled some on my salad and it was great. Is there a reason you should cook it or can you just add it to salad, etc., or into a trail mix type combination? I just heard about it from a Dr. Oz show and am trying it for the first time so know nothing about it except that he said it was a super food. Thanks for your feedback.

For those looking for a cheap price for quinoa, I buy it from bulk bins at Winco for $3.45 lb. The plastic bag is free, no fancy box and labels to pay for. Hope this helps.
