Blueberries are full of antioxidants making them one of the healthy superfoods. They are also perfect in smoothies. Try them mixed in your strawberry smoothie, or try this delicious blueberry smoothie recipe. Either way they are good and good for you.
Blueberry Smoothie Recipe
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- Ice (optional)
Blend everything until smooth. If your smoothie turns out too thick, add more juice and blend again.
You can make this with either fresh or frozen blueberries. I mostly use frozen ones since they are so convenient and they give the smoothie that thick frozen consistency (very much like a milkshake).
