Smoothies are great for the whole family and this basic strawberry smoothie recipe is the perfect way to give this a try.
It really couldn’t be any simpler. All you need is three ingredients, a blender and of course a glass to pour your smoothie into. This recipe makes one serving. You can easily multiply it for several people and mix it up in a big blender. I can usually make up to 4 servings in mine.
Basic Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
- 6 large strawberries
- 1/2 cup of yogurt (any flavor, homemade works great as well)
- 1 cup of milk
Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the finished smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy right away.
That’s it … it really couldn’t be any easier. You can mix up the flavor of this smoothie by using different favors of yogurt. For a super strawberry smoothie, use strawberry flavored yogurt. Vanilla is very tasty as well. You can also add in other fruits like banana, pineapple or kiwi for example.
